While generative AI has made significant strides in various industries, the healthcare sector has been slower to embrace this transformative technology.
Recent analyses by McKinsey & Company suggest that the impact of Gen AI on productivity could be especially profound in the healthcare sector, potentially surpassing its effects in other industries. Projections indicate a significant produc

Generative Artificial Intelligence is a technology catalyst. Not only can it deliver added value in specific use cases like medicine (see picture above) or marketing, the technology could drive value across an entire organization by revolutionizing internal knowledge management systems. A 2023 study of McKinsey showcases how product R&D can be transformed through generative AI. Our tech Know-h

Forschungszentrum Jülich and Eviden have agreed on the delivery of a modular data centre for the JUPITER supercomputer. JUPITER will be the first ExaFlop system in Europe and consists of two modules: a booster module with NVIDIA GPUs and a cluster module. The data centre consists of around 50 containers and offers lower costs and more flexibility. It will be installed in 2024.
Our Tech-Know-how to go feature presents the MareNostrum 5 supercomputer in facts and figures
The MareNostrum 5 supercomputer inaugurated today catapulted itself into 8th and 19th place in the latest TOP500 list of the most powerful supercomputers in the world. As a subcontractor in this 151.4-million-euro project, ParTec AG made a decisive contribution to the successful implementation of the system. ParTec AG specialises in the development and manufacture of AI supercomputers based on its modular high-performance computing (HPC) systems and quantum computers (QC) as well as the associated system software. The offering also includes consulting and support services in all areas of the development, construction and operation of these modern systems. The concept of dynamic modular system architecture (dMSA) is the result of more than ten years of research and was developed by ParTec as a novel system design for massively parallel high computing systems. The dMSA and the underlying ParaStation Modulo Software Suite, which was developed and is maintained by ParTec, have proven to be particularly suitable for the complex requirements of massive computing power in artificial intelligence.
